I had my boyfriend's debs last night which was held in the Carnegie Court Hotel/Rouge Nightclub in Swords, Dublin. A great night was had by all. I even won 'Best Dressed' which was quite flattering to say the least. I did have a wee accident though .. I sprained my ankle as I was coming off the bus. The medics bandaged me up and I ended up spending my night being carried around or sitting watching everyone dancing .. I envied them all.
Anyway, as some of you know I like to do debs/prom on a budget (For my blog post click here). I did my own hair (with the help of my wonderful sister) and make-up and tan. I also spent a very small amount on the dress, shoes and accessories.
Make-Up
I went for a dramatic look with matte eyeshadows, thick liner and lashes.

Gosh Velvet Touch Cream Primer
MAC Studio Sculpt NC30
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer Soft Beige
CrownBrush UK Concealer Palette (For Contouring)
MAC Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Pressed Powder

Sleek Eyebrow Kit in Light
Lips:
MAC Prep and Prime Lip Primer
Essence Lip Liner 'In the Nude'
MAC Creamsheen Lipstick Creme D'Nude

Too Faced Matte Eye Palette (Using 'Tufted Suede' all over the lid and 'Coffee Bean' in the crease and outer under eye area)
Naked Palette (Using 'Sidecar' as highlight)
Naked 2 Palette ('Busted' in crease and 'Blackout' to set gel eyeliner)
Barry M Black Kohl Eye Pencil
Fuschia Gel Eyeliner in Black
Essence Waterproof Liquid Liner (To neaten things up)
Benefit 'They're Real' Mascara
Eyelure Exaggerate False Lashes No. 141
Hair
I wore my Bellami Hair Extensions (They're AMAZING!) and straightened my hair for that sleek, straight look. My sister helped me back-comb to achieve the wanted look.
The Dress
I got my dress from Boohoo.com for €38. I thought it was such a bargain. The Tilly Plunge Neck Slinky Maxi Dress is available here.
Shoes
My shoes were also from Boohoo and even though I didn't get to wear them for very long I loved them! They weren't too high and were quite comfortable. They were called Scarlet Barely There Heels and cost me €28.
Accessories
The dress I wore came with a gold belt so I planned on pairing it with some gold accessories to match. I ordered the Chelsea Multi Link Hand Harness from Boohoo for just €8. I had been dying to get one!
My sister had a number of thin gold rings that she had picked up in Penneys. I decided to rob two and pair them on one of my fingers.
I had a clutch that my friend had bought me for my birthday from River Island. It went perfectly with my dress.
I also wore an ear cuff as my ear was exposed and I felt it suited the look. I picked this up in New Look a couple of weeks ago. I can't seem to find the price online but I don't think it was anymore than €12.
Nails
Hannah Kellegher, a friend of mine, is a nail technician and I had never got my nails done before so I thought why not? Hehe! I went for gel nails in a nude colour with my ring finger in gold glitter. Check out Hannah's page here.
Tan
I have never got my tan done and I never will once I have my Cocoa Brown Tan in Dark. It's sooo good! For my full review click here.
Thats it guys! Hope you enjoyed it and liked what I wore. Thanks for reading. Mwah!
